INTERNATIONAL
Since the mid 1980’s SKA have been involved in various projects internationally. The first ‘project’ was a pro bono community centre in Lesotho for which basic drawings were produced in Ireland and sent out for local construction. Continuing to broaden it’s international experience and associations with local architects in a number of locations through more than a dozen projects, SKA have now developed an understanding of the specific issues involved in executing projects in other jurisdictions and the challenges presented by differing environments.
In 2008, Smith & Kennedy architects and O’ Mahoney Pike formed Kompas, a joint venture company with offices now established in Bahrain providing a wide range of services internationally.
