Formerly St Brendans College. The original St Brendans College post-primary school building was built in the early 1970's and required excessive remedial works to upgrade the building to comply with current Department of Education technical guidance documents and building regulations.

A new school building was built to replace the old school and was renamed Woodbrook College to reflect the new state of the art facilities for approximately 450 pupils including a new intake of girls in what was traditionally an all-boys school.

A new sports hall, which can be accessed independently for out of hours community use, fronts onto the Old Bray Road and forms one side of the main entrance courtyard. This bright open east facing courtyard gives direct access to the main entrance and centrally located general purpose hall.

The double height GP hall has a dramatic circular roof light and forms the heart of the new school building from which all parts of the school are easily accessible off pinwheel corridors and colour coded stairs that can be extended for future expansion of the school.

The GP hall also opens directly out to a sunny south-west facing external playground area surrounded by the open sports fields beyond.
