Istanbul was the chosen destination for our office trip this year. The blend of contemporary and iconic historic architecture – combined with immersion in a new culture and excellent cuisine – made it the perfect place to visit.
The three-day trip allowed us to experience the city through the eyes of our guides, Zeynep and Ebru, local architects from the GA Istanbul group. With their deep passion for the city, they did an excellent job showcasing the contemporary buildings throughout Istanbul.
We couldn't miss one of the city's most fascinating landmarks: Hagia Sophia. The mosque, with its breath-taking architecture and rich history, made it a truly special place to visit. We also explored the Blue Mosque and its surrounding areas, which were equally special.
It was wonderful to spend time together as a diverse group of architects, drawing inspiration and immersing ourselves in a new culture. Excited for the next one!
